I look at my kids and Kat andР’В I realize how lucky I am, not everyone is blessed the way I have been. I've been feeling like I need to more for some time now. I am also challenging all my friends and family to do the same. Hopefully it will be something the hole family can do. I'mР’В pledging today that by New years eve I am going to pick out some kind of charity work that I can participate in once a month for the next year. The truth is we should all try to do more during the holidays andР’В all year round. I would like to thinkР’В that most people try to do something during the holidays to help out people who need it. Why should I give to charities? Because they need our help. We would love to know our grandchildren some day. So now its time to start working on some other things to improve our health. Its been 3 months since we started this and I feel pretty confident thatР’В wereР’В done with meat. I have many years of poor eating habits to erase. You would think that someone whoР’В chasesР’В after two kids all day would be in better shape. I have a lot of other food issues to deal with, not to mention the fact that I need to get off my ass and move around a little bit faster than just running to the bathroom or the fridge. ButР’В we made it through the night with out eatingР’В meat.Р’В I did eatР’В everything else in the house, including many desserts with lots of animal product in them. During Christmas at my aunts house, they broke out some Italian sausage, some chicken that looked sooooo good, a ham and even a peperoni pizza. ItsР’В going to take us baby stepsР’В to get to that point. We are animals lovers, but in my opinion no one is a true animal lover unless your vegan. SheР’В does haveР’В a lot of compassion for animalsР’В as do I, butР’В I'm still eating fish and we eat other animals products like milk, cheese, butter and just about everything else in our kitchen. I think she quit eating meat for my sake. Kat was never a huge meat eater, she does like chicken and on an occasion she would enjoy a good steak, but she never had the same problem that I have with over eating. I didn't get the job and that may have contributed to my issues with chicken and all other meats.Р’В I have to have something to blameР’В my issues on right.Р’В Damn commercial. I once tried out for a commercial whenР’В I was a kid for KFC, I had to sit up in a tree and say' I love fried chicken. It can be fried, baked, grilled, served with pasta, on top of pizza or all by its self. My biggest problem is probably with chicken.

Except for humans I have some self control.(that was gross) that's chicken, beef, turkey, pork and anything else that once walked the earth. When meat is involved in my meals I eat till its all gone. Why did we stop eating meat? I can't speak for Kat but I can speak for myself.
